How do I set up a location reminder. I want to remind myself to bring a book with me tomorrow before I leave my house in the morning.

I'd just do it this way. You can set a reminder for a specific time or to go off after a specific interval (e.g. in 20 minutes).I believe you can do that with Google Now. Just use the voice feature to set the reminder.

I'm not sure how you'd do it with a location based reminder. The phone will know after you've left, but not before you're about to leave unless you tell it you're leaving somehow. With something like Tasker you could find a way to trigger a task that goes off when you're leaving the house (NFC, or voice command, maybe) and then either have it give you your list of reminders from a custom list or something like Astrid.
That premise (triggering when you leave the house to get a list of reminders) is actually a pretty good idea. I've been looking for an excuse to get and use NFC tags and this might just be the perfect reason.
I've downloaded it. It was easy to set up, now I'll have to wait to go out and see how it works. Think of the possibilities...grocery store etc.
Brilliant idea, btw.

I've just released an app that does location based reminders. It aims to be more configurable than Google Now, while still being easy to use. For example, you can set a reminder for when you leave a place or when you're near any place of a certain type (for example any Walmart, not just one). It's called Geobells. If you're still interested, you should check it out. Click to view on Google Play store
Lots of bugs in app when picking up location
