Sorry if this has been asked before ... I'm not certain if the mail client is Android's or HTC's (I presume the former). I have the impression that Amaze has an unconventional memory setup by hosting "SD Card" storage as part of its 16GB internal memory, then mapping your plug-in Micro-SD card as another partition.
The mail client offers to store each configured account's (in my case IMAP4) storage independently ... offering the following three choices on the Amaze:
I presume that phone storage is in the internal memory partition, but has anyone determined if "Internal" is /mnt/sdcard/ (symlinked as /sdcard1/) and "External" is /mnt/sdcard/ext_sd/ (symlinked as /sdcard2/) ? and what path is the storage on, ./Android/data/[app]/ ?
TIA....
