Lock and swipe screen behavior

There is probably and easy answer for this somewhere, but I have a pin lock activated with a delay (so i don't have to pin constantly.) So, how do I get a swipe lock screen to show up any time the screen comes on instead of just after the pin lock is activated? It doesnt seem to be much of an issue since the power and home buttons are pretty hard to accidentally hit but it just feels weird not having a swipe screen of some sort to keep the phone idle until i need it.

Theres a thread on the main forum talking about this too. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this. I also wanted my lock screen to always ask me to swipe - but not enter my PIN if its within x amount of minutes
