Lock Clock Lag

Seems like when I wake up the phone, it takes a second for the clock to change to the correct time.

Phone is locked, pressing the power button unlocks the display and the time stamp is from when the phone was locked, a second later the correct time changes.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Seems like this started after update to 5.0.2 going to reset to stock and not update and see what happens.

Ayone has any idea what might be causing this? Is this a hardware thing or OS? Tried reset with no luck.

Thanks for being patient waiting for a reply. Have you cleared cache to see if that fixes the problem? I'm not sure what could be causing the delay in updating the clock time, but hopefully the clearing of the cache works.

Hi,

I've tried clearing cache on the following services, but the issue is still there. If i lock the phone and unlock it within a few minutes the time is synch fine and there is no delay. If i leave the phone locked for more than 5 minutes than the delay is noticeable.

Could this be an issue with a clock widget on the lock screen? i can't figure out which widget/service is running (default touchwiz one),,,

I do see this occasionally but i can't recreate it, but its not enough of an annoyance to bother me. I think it only happens if i haven't unlocked the screen in a couple hours.
