I have had my Droid for about 7 months and today my power button suddenly lost its click, as if it's sunken in. It takes 2 or 3 presses to turn the screen on. I googled the issue and this seems to happen to many Droid users. I read that Verizon will replace the phone with a refurbished one for this issue... but if I do that will that be my "one replacement" under warranty? If so, I'll just wait until right before mine runs out in Dec. It is annoying though :/

one replacement?

if you have a phone with issues, you can get it replaced as needed within that one year

Should I call or bring it to the store?

I am just worried a refurbished one will have more issues...

refurbished phones are supposed to be fully functional but bay have some visual scratches.

My power key is the same. It does not "click" anymore. Anoying. So you are saying that if I bring it in they will give me a new one?

Yes that is correct, you have a 1 year warrenty with your device, you can use an unlimited amount of times and it is free. The insurance is the one with limitations, you can only use it twice in one year.

This just suddenly happened to me. Are they replacing anyone's droid1 with droid 2s?
