Lock Screen and Screen Timeout Question

I just bought an S4 and I'm also new to Android. Is there a setting to have my screen turn off say after 5 sec of inactivity but not have it go into Lock Screen mode that requires me to enter my password for say 10 minutes?

I don't think so. Once the lock screen locks (you do have a small window a several seconds) you have to input your password.

I experimented around with the settings and I did not see anything that was obvious. I just wanted to ask the question to make sure I have not missed anything. Thanks for the reply.
