Lock screen animation

Hi all, :)
After a recent update on Android v7, I started seeing an animation when I unlock the phone.
It's a transition like a zoom-out. I really don't like it and I couldn't find a way to change it. I am able to disable it via animation options in Developers menu but I'm looking for a way to change it without rooting the phone. Is it possible?
Thanks for your help.

It would just be part of a theme or an animated wallpaper. You can't change those? I had Nougat on my S7 and had no such animation going.

Thanks for the reply, yes I can change the theme. I just wanted to know if I could change that specific lock screen animation and keep the current theme.
I'm ok with the rest of the theme and window animations. I just don't like the zooming transition when I unlock the phone.

(BTW this new animation kicked in after an update 2 days ago.)

I've tried some other themes, then I switched back to this (default) theme and that `annoying` transition effect just disappeared by itself!
But this time, the auto-brightness transition disappeared. Brightness used to change slowly to adapt to the lighting of the environment but now it just zaps to the value immediately. * no big deal though.

@noisywan can you tell me the themes you used, because I have the same problem (from 2 days before). I can not believe how they ruined my phone with this.

I have realized that it's not theme related, my mistake.I was playing with the switches and I just forgot to turn on the animation switches in Settings / Developer Options / Drawing and I thought the change of themes fixed the issue. I just turned off all animations. That explains why the brightness transition has disappeared.(duh!)

Window animation scale : off
Transition animation scale : off
Animator duration scale :off
