Lock Screen Apps Widget doesn't work

Does anyone else have the problem that the 'Favorite Apps or Camera' On/Off button is grayed out on the Lock Screen option under settings, so no widgets can be added to the lock screen?

I disabled some apps, but nothing that should have impacted this. I am otherwise stock.

Its because you have some type of lock method on the lockscreen. The widgets arent available unless you have the unlock method to swipe.

The widgets are available in the lock screen not matter what type of lock you have. There is a way to do it and there is a video on Youtube in how to do it. This video was here in the main page about one week ago. Its a matter of fact there are two ways to put widgets on the lock screen. Do a search.
