Hey All -

Has anyone experienced this issue before?

1. Unlock your device
2. Scroll to a screen (other than your designated home screen)
3. Press the power button (sleep)
4. Press the power button again (wake)

For a split second my phone shows the screen I pressed the power button (step 3) before the lock screen is launched.

I can't duplicate this right now, but I have seen this happen once or twice before. I think it's just a matter of what order the phone processes these actions. ie. turn on display, display lock screen... Sounds like a tiny bit of lag. If it really bothers you, make sure all your apps are closed/reset the phone.

Glad I'm not the only one. I can recreate this 9 times out of 10 that I try. Not a major problem for me - just a minor annoyance. Thanks!

This happens to me all the time. The more annoying one that happens though is when I try to end a call it will lock the phone, then I unlock it and the screen will go dark! All said, by the time I've ended the call I've left an awkward mostly silent (aside from me cursing my phone) voicemail for someone.

Wife had the locked screen when she took phone away from head to end call while still within the 30 day window Verizon swapped phone and now no problem.
