Lock Screen Image Question

I feel like this is obvious but I can't figure it out. Is there a way to have the lock screen image to be different than the home screen panels image?

On your homescreen click on the paint icon in the bottom right, tap lockscreen, select different lockscreen, select apply.

What I want to be able to do is use a photo in my gallery or something I've downloaded as the image to be displayed on the lock screen. I don't see how to do that. The only options I see are the clock, stocks, weather, etc. I can select wallpaper, but then the image is the same on the lock screen as it is on the homepage, and I'm looking for them to be different.

I want the same thing, but it doesn't seem possible, which is very annoying.

no I dont think you can use a custom image on the lock screen as of now. But you can select the gallery lock screen, it will display all your pictures floating around.

HTC doesnt have that option yet. Newer Samsung phones do.
