Lock Screen Looks Out of Place

I just remembered. My G4 is a dual model. So this message is because I only have one SIM inserted. I currently don't need two SIM cards in my G4 but why do I need to see this message?? Anyone know if there's a way to remove it? I have had lots of dual phones before but I don't remember seeing this message when I had only one SIM installed.

Just an idea might not work.....

Try using the other Sim slot & my thinking is one might be primary and the other secondary in the setup.

It won't work. There's no primary or secondary. Says SIM 1 and SIM 2. Have tried both.



When I insert the SIM in the slot that says SIM 1. The carrier name as you can see from the screen shot appears on the left. In other words, the prompt on the left is for the first sim slot and the latter is for SIM 2.

Gotcha ok so only thing i can think of if its annoying you is to place another sim in slot 2.

Like a non contract sim if those exist in the states.

Where did you buy the phone from? Have you looked to LG itself for Support on dual sim phones?

A local retail store here in the UAE. The message can be removed/changed only after inserting a 2nd local sim in it. I guess this is how it works on the G4. Not a problem really. Love my G4!
