Lock Screen Message

I can't get the lock screen message to display on the lock screen since Pie. Any suggestions?

I can't get the lock screen message to display on the lock screen since Pie. Any suggestions?

For me, the msg appears on the lock screen w/wallpaper that you swipe up on to enter your PIN (or pattern or whatever).

It doesn't appear on the black screen w/AOD when the phone is asleep. IIRC, the msg did appear on this screen as part of the AOD in prior versions.

Sorry this might be a little bit late but I created an account at 4 am to answer this question so screw it I'mma go for it. Just save the message in settings and wait. For me it took 5 minutes to show up for whatever reason. I've even found luck in restarting the device. Hope that helps!!
