Got my Droid X yesterday from BB and have been playing with it to figure it out. I have one question that I can't seem to resolve on my own. The initial screen that appears after hitting the home key has the date and this phone belongs to on it. I am trying to find where to configure this. I have looked everywhere, but am unable to find it. Help.

Do you want to turn it off? I dont think there is anywhere to configure it that I know of. If you want to turn it off go to market and download a program called "no lock". It will disable that screen so you dont have to keep swiping to turn on your phone.

Figured out my issue. It was actually the free antivirus software I downloaded. It has a place to put owners name and that the phone is protected by antivirus. Downloaded this from android market. Sorry for being a pita.

yeah, i'd take that off...antivirus causes nothing but problems

You don't have to use "no lock". Go to security settings and disable lock screen.
