Lock Screen Question

Recent convert from the iPhone 5 and I must say that the HTC One puts Apple to shame, have been using the iPhone since the original launch day and now I dont know what kept me around for so long.

I am currently using Nova Launcher as my launcher and have customized the dock. I am a fan of the Sense unlock screen, however the dock on the lock screen is the one from Sense is there a way to get my Nova Launcher Dock onto the lock screen? I Used Widget Locker for a short period but didn't like the lock screen alternatives they offered, really looking for keeping the original lock screen and just modifying the dock. Any tips? Is it even possible? Thanks!

@cbarry77:
Are you saying you want the apps at the bottom of the lock screen to match the ones you set for nova launcher? In that case, go to settings>applications>nova launcher>clear defaults. Now press the home button and select HTC Sense home launcher to re-arrange the apps on the dock to the way you want your lock screen to look. When you are satisfied, press the home button and select nova launcher as default again. Then when you unlock your phone, you should see the apps you just set on the lock screen (and nova launcher will still be your home screen)!
I don't actually have the HTC One, so if this is inaccurate, sorry!

Hope this helps! :)

Welcome to the forums. I'm not really sure the Sense lockscreen looks like, but I use Nova and Widget Locker pretty heavily. Widget Locker is so very very very customizable, I would think you could make it look any way you want. There's a whole forum at XDA specifically devoted to Widget Locker sliders and customizations.

Just my two cents.

I will have to check out the XDA site for some more info thank you!!

This does work however I set nova launcher to to increase the amount of docked icons to 7 instead of the 4 in sense, thats what I am trying to replicate thanks for the response!!

I used Widget Locker a lot in the past, but there is one and only one (pun intended) reason why I'm not currently using it on the HTC ONE. The camera.

When I moved from an iPhone, one of my biggest gripes on the Galaxy phones (III and Note II) was that from the lockscreen (protected with a pin/password), there is no way to access the camera. If you click on the camera icon on the lockscreen, whether default Touchwiz or Widget Locker, it still required you to enter your pin/password before the camera would open. This caused me to often miss those impromptu "candid" moments with my kids while I attempted to unlock my device. I'm using a company device, so the pin requires a minimum of 8 digits. Inevitably I would be rushed trying to unlock the stupid camera and type the pin wrong or something.

Anyway, when I got the HTC ONE, I was amazed and pleasantly surprised to be able to drag up on the camera icon and go immediately to the camera, regardless if my device was locked with the pin/password. However, when I installed Widget Locker, putting the camera icon on the lockscreen would once again require me to enter a pin/password before I could open the camera. I have yet to find a solution and that is a deal-breaker. I would prefer to stick with the Sense lockscreen and have almost immediate access to the camera. To each his own, of course!

If anyone has found a solution for this, please let me know!

Hey Moto, I'm having the same problem. I'm using the Action Launcher Pro along with the Stark theme icon pack, however, the lock screen still uses the Sense 5 icon theme. I did exactly as you said, but the icons on the lock screen didn't change to the Stark icon theme. If you could help, that'd be great!
