Lock screen question

Any idea why when in AOD and after pressing the power button, it brings be right to my home page or last opened app rather than my lock screen ?

Just got the N8 yesterday and had a question on the lock screen. When I first started using it and would hit the power button, it would put the phone into standby/always on screen, then if I hit the power button again it would bring me to the lock screen. There I'd need to swipe to open the phone and get to the home page.

Now when I hit the power button and it goes to the AOD, then I hit the power button again it brings me directly to the home screen on the phone, or whatever I had opened like a app or web page. I don't have any security in place like pattern, PIN/pass, FP/bio-metrics right now, but when it's on AOD and I hit the power button where I should then go to the lock screen and have to swipe to get to my home screen, it skips that part.

I never had security like pattern/PIN/pass/bio set up on the N5 either, but every time I hit power then hit it again, it would bring me to my lock screen where I'd have to swipe to open it. The N8 was working the same way at first but now it's bypassing the lock screen.

I did start using Bixby last night, so not sure if that's caused my phone to go directly from a press of the power button to my home screen, bypassing the lock screen or not. I realized pressing the Bixby button also now doing the same thing, completely bypasses the lock screen and brings me right to home screen or last app/page I had opened.

There is a "trusted location/device" setting that may have been turned on. When it is on if you are in a certain area or connected to a certain device it will bypass the lock screen. Look to see if that is set up

I combed through my settings pretty good and didn't see anything for trusted location/device, may have been some place I missed in my search though.

Seems to have corrected itself oddly enough. Checked my Verizon cloud and since then it's been going back to the lock screen when I hit the power button.
