Lock Screen shortcuts

I believe that on MM, if you have some form of security for the lockscreen (ie fingerprint) you can't edit the app shortcuts. However I am unsure. Just a hunch. I have an ATT Lollipop V10 and I do have the option.

That's it. I changed mine to swipe and the option is there.

Well that is expectedly stupid of AT&T. Block a feature because I use security on my phone.

Ummm.. If you have a shortcut on your lockscreen, doesn't that defeat the purpose of a secure lockscreen?

It does but mine has a short cut for the camera and no way of taking it off.

I cannot. I have a Pin lock and no option to change the short cuts at all. It has a camera shortcut and emergency call button.

You need to temporarily set the lock screen to swipe only without security, then the settings is visible. Make your changes and then go back to the lock screen security you had before.

While I don't care that the short cut is there, I tried your suggestion and it's a no. When I edit the shortcuts, there are non to start with.

They probably figure the thief will use the camera for selfies and self-incriminate.

That did work to reveal the setting but when you set the security back to fingerprint it removes the lock screen shortcuts.
