Lock screen stays on when fingerprint scanner used.

Hi all, wonder if anyone can help. I have a brand new Samsung Note 4 Duo SM-N9100 on lollipop. I have found that if you set it to fingerprint scanner lock the screen never times out, so if anything wakes it while in your pocket its sucking the battery dry. If you set it to any other type of lock it works fine, but I would really like to have my fingerprint scanner back, any suggestions?

I have a Note 4 on Sprint, and the FP reader doesn't have this issue. Try clearing the cache and seeing if that helps (Shut down, press and hold all three buttons: Volume up+Home Button+Power, Blue verbiage shows in top left corner on startup if you do it correctly. Select Clear Cache and reboot when finished.
