Lock Screen Swipe Question

So I have my lock screen set up for swipe only to unlock. Not a fan of too much number pressing, etc., just to unlock the phone. Anyway, I wanted to remove the glowing/sun swipe and just get down to old school with no effect. However, when I go into my lock screen settings this aspect is greyed out and I can't change anything. Does anyone know why? I used to be able to change it, because I know for sure that I flipped through the three different settings.

Thanks!

Maybe a screenshot of your Lock screen settings might help... you must have changed something else is my only guess right now, but I will not know until I see what you changed.

Here's a screen shot.

Sounds like a very strong possibility.

And the option that you were talking about is from S Voice. I had that disabled too. When I enabled it the wake in lock screen option showed back up, but nothing else changed.

I added back the only ones it could be and nothing. I don't know what's causing it.

Interesting, but you did not tell me which one you enabled... if I was to guess it might be something to do with Air view. Did you disable that and was that the one you enabled?

Well I enabled everything I disabled and it didn't come back. I tried air view and all of the other Samsung apps that I had disabled and it still didn't come back.

Then it sounds like you are going to have to do a Factory Reset to get it back if you really want it back.

Figured it out, and I'm kind of surprised no one else has noticed this. If you have a live wallpaper on the lock screen you can't change the type of unlock swipe. The second you change it to a static wallpaper, you can.

It really shouldn't be a surprise... live wallpaper's use battery... at least as far as I'm concerned I don't use live wallpapers... and I doubt it most people use them unless showing off a live wallpaper. And just another great thing that you might have wanted to say you had changed.

Yeah. I like them. I didn't say I changed it because I pretty much immediately loaded on my live wallpaper, so I didn't make the connection between the two.

I'm not a fan of them....unless you have some ya wanna share! I don't care for the stock ones.

I like Origami Live Wallpaper. And I got that Sunbeam wallpaper from the new Google Edition S4 and One.
