Android Central Question

Hey guys!

My Samsung Galaxy S10+ was recently updated with Android 10 a few days ago and ever since then I've noticed that the colours on my lock screen wallpaper look off, almost like it has a blue light filter on it. I notice it especially with the white on my wallpaper. If I view the image in my gallery it's a very pure white, however on my lock screen it's a warm white. This was not the case prior to the update. I've attempted to see if there was something in the wallpaper settings that I could change but I have not been able to find something that fixes this issue.

I'm not sure why this is happening but I've noticed it started occurring after the Android 10 update. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Thank you!

Welcome to Android Central! Is it only when on the lockscreen, or also if you use that as the homescreen wallpaper? Is the phone blurring the wallpaper a little on the lockscreen?

Funny same thing here. But I've had this Lenovo tablet which has Android 10 for about a month and today I just noticed that instead of the usual black wallpaper on both homescreen and lockscreen which I configured way back, I immediately noticed that wallpaper on my lockscreen was now dark blue. Any idea as to how this happened ? This is troubling in the sense that this could be a sign of a hacking. Very troubling indeed.

Welcome to Android Central! That wouldn't make me worried about hacking. I have the Lenovo Tab M8 FHD, and I did notice a few glitches here and there after the Android 10 update.

When you select a new wallpaper, it should ask if you want it to apply to only the homescreen, or both the homescreen and lockscreen. Are you doing the latter?

Hi there,

Yes, that's exactly what I did. I chose the 2nd option which was to show a black wallpaper for both homescreen and lockscreen. Thank you for your reply. The best 1st line of defense is "confidence" and you just gave this to me. ;-)

Thanks again.
