Lock screen widgets?

I've taken to using Widget locker, which I despise , because I cannot find a way to add my widgets to my default lockscreen. I've googled this and I've found articles that say you can go into Security in settings, and there should be an option to allow lockscreen widgets, but my Sprint Edge does not have this option.. Any ideas?? :-\

From what I've read by searching Google, it's not possible with KitKat but will be with Lollipop.

I can't do this either in my T-Mobile Edge or T-Mobile Note 4.
