Lock Screen with Multigesture

I just purchased the HTC One (M8) last night. I am familiar with the lock gestures; however, I was wondering if you can lock the screen using a multi gesture or do you have to click the top-right power button? Thanks in advance for your help.

There are no gestures that came with the phone. So I'm using this app

I have it set to swipe up from home to sleep.

Can you explain how you set the swipe to work with screen lock and off?

For me I had just downloaded the app and swiped up from the home button. It then gave me a choice to select Google now or screen lock and off. I set it default to screen off and lock and that was it.

I downloaded Knock Lock a couple of days ago - you set a space on your home screen (you can make it wider and longer) where you tap twice to turn it off and lock it. So far working great.

I was using EZ Lock, but I think I like the Knock Lock app even better. Thank you
