I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I don't seem to be able to change the default lock screen or it's wallpaper. Can anyone assist or am I stuck with the default?

Find a picture in your gallery. more, set as... Wallpaper/gallery, tick (top right), then choose either lock/home screen.

Is this what you're doing?

Yeah, but it does nothing on the Mate 9. The "Magazine" default lock screen has a strangle-hold on the phone.
