Lock scren without power key

[AC Question]

Hi, the power button has stopped working on my GS6. I think it's a software problem because I can do a power+volume down combo but power on it's own doesn't do anything. I've tried a factory reset though and that didn't seem to work either...

Anyway I digress, I don't really need the power button except to quickly lock the screen, like if I want to put the phone in my pocket.

Does anyone know of an app or gesture I can use to lock the screen without using the power key?

There are quite a few apps in the Play Store that can do that, but launchers like Nova can also set shortcuts/gestures to lock/turn-off the screen. The only 'downside' of turning it off like that is that it's always locked, so turning the screen back on will ask for your lockscreen password/pin/fingerprint no matter what the lock timer on your settings is.
