Lock Status and Unlock Without Other Network Sim Card

I Have started having that problem with it about 2 months ago and the phone companies are adding more areas codes, and now everyone I know of has to pit a area code ( not necessary the 1 infront of area code, exp. 123-456-7890). Hope this helps you

The number is incorrect it should be
Enter the following number on your dial paid (including the # sign)
#7465625*638*#

After entering it, it will show you the unlock screen. Enter your unlock code and hit okay. Your phone is then unlocked successfully.

NOTE: This should work for any of the samsung devices. I am not sure if it works for others (i.e. htc or motorolla)

Can verify it worked my S7 Active on ATT network. Got the network unlock prompt, typed in code from ATT, showed unlocked.

Wow I know this thread is old, but I tried it on a Samsung S-7 Active and it said unlocked when i did this method....Thanks

I have tried this method with my J3 orbit but it does not work. i have the unlock code , i just don't have a way of entering it into the phone.
I also tried a the method of another sim inside the phone but it does not prompt me for the code after reboot it's just saying network lock.
