locked out of my phone please help

i am locked out my samsung galaxy s5 phone. i went on the android device manager web and tried to do the whole step until i realized the location on my phone is off. so everytime i reset the password instead of getting the black screen and asked for a pin it keeps asking me for alternate password. Please help if its possible i really dont want to do factory reset and lose all the pic memories i made with my kids and family. The memories i cant get back.

Were your Photos saved to SD card or was your phone sync'd as per, Backup! Backup! Backup! NOW!

If it's sim card lock out your network store may be able to help. if it's scren lock pin you created yourself, and can't remember, a factory reset which will wipe your phone memory is the onlyway. I did it to myself yesterday and spent the morning ringing around and now have to face doing a reset. Sorry.
