Locked out of new phone, help!

[AC Question]

Hi everyone, recently bought a huawei . Set it up ,linked it to my Google account etc. Used finger print scan to unlock . Had to restart my phone and now it's saying 'your unlock password is required after a restart ' I have no idea what this code is. It looks like its a numerical one as it doesn't give me the option of entering letters (thought it may have been my Gmail pword). Logged onto the Google account on another device to see if there's an option to change this code but there is no option to. Any help would be much appreciated

So far as I know, users are required to set a backup PIN as a condition of using the FPS security method, on all phones. I doubt that it's any different on Huawei phones.
