Locked vs unlocked?

Hopefully it will get updates sooner as well. I bought my S10e from Samsung and decided to get the unlocked version over the T-Mobile version and I am still on the May security patch. For some reason I was thinking unlocked versions were updated sooner when in fact, they are not. I ordered a Note 10 yesterday and selected the T-Mobile version.

Unlocked phones tend to get updates a bit slower than ones purchased via your carrier, unfortunately!
