Locking particular Apps

Hi,

Is there anyway to password protect only certain apps? I had though I read something where the Note 4 could do this but didn't find anything.

I know I can get a third party app but I prefer not to have to download too many apps. If that is my only option, anyone have any suggestions? Heard both good and bad things about AppLock and Smart AppLock. Thank you.

I like Smart AppLock. Haven't used the other. Nothing is perfect.

Some apps do come with their own, similar security if you have paid versions (like Evernote). I'm not aware of any non-app way to lock individual apps otherwise.

I like the concept a lot, but I tried to install it and it doesn't run. It just says "undefined error." I followed directions on the PlayStore page to "reinstall," which did not help. I notice they talk a lot about the S5 compatibility. They may not be as good with the Note 4. Hopefully, soon.

Just What I was looking for. I thought this would be built in to the Note 4 system. It only makes sense. Works perfectly! Thanks!

One thing I really like is if you leave the app and it's sitting in recently used, it still ask for fingerprint. Great for banking!

I never got it to function even once no matter how many times I restarted it. It crashed every single time. I can't even test it. I may give it another shot in a few months. I also saw they have a new competitor in playstore, but the newbie has very few downloads, few reviews and they're paid. I thought I'd wait awhile before trying them too. It's a perfect idea. I just can't get it to work.

Yeah I did see the competitor, I almost tried it too but then I saw it was paid and I was like I'm good. Lol. Interface doesn't look as good either.

There is a beta version you can download by going through the settings. The beta may have fixed it for you if you wanted to try that.
