Locking Sounds OFF

I need to keep my phone on vibrate at all times.

On several occasions, when I have swiped the unlock screen when turning on the phone, I have inadvertently swiped across the sound switch resulting in sounds being turned on without my knowledge, (until a call comes in).

Is there any way to lock this switch to keep it in the OFF position?

(I noticed that in screen shots of ICS, they rotated the switch 90 degrees which is probably an attempt to prevent this from happening.)

Widget locker or some other program that lets you customize the lock screen.

Or practice being a little more accurate with your swipes.

Yeah, you can get a custom Lockscreen replacement. And the RAZR I noticed when they were showing it off had a 90 degree one as well, in the middle of the screen, then had unlock or unlock to camera on either side.
