Lockscreen audio controls come and go, anyone else?

I can't find a pattern or cause, but sometimes the music controls are present on the lockscreen when the music is playing, sometimes they aren't. Anyone else have this issue?

I have Google Music on pause; and I walk away, the phone locks and the music controls are still on there... but I imagine after a while, ICS clears out the music Cache, even tho, I the app shows 1.9gigs of auto cache music...

The controls are still there, and the lock pattern is now black, not the usual blue Phase Beam wall paper, but the album art is gone, and I can't resume the song...

No biggie, unlock & re-open Music...

Right, it is no big deal, just a nice convenience that can't seem to make up its mind whether to exist or not.

Mine will go away sometimes even when the music is playing!
