So... like me... lots of Apple converts here recently. I've got just about any feature I missed from the iPhone on my One now. The one thing was those great Lockscreen Notifications. But after some much fiddling and $10 wasted... I think I got a solution. Still waiting to test it out at work but thought I'd post.

Basically... running:
WidgetLocker - https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...d=com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker&token=QWANUPqq
NiLS Notifications Lock Screen - https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...am.android.notificationswidget&token=vTECl5Mj
Phantom Music Control - https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...s?id=cz.jhg.musiccontrolwidget&token=QbiPv-x4

Much fiddling but could get me the results below. Screen comes on when a new alert comes in. Doesn't quite stack like the iPhone but good enough for a visual alert of incoming email.

And yes... that is my dog :)

That's sweet, Aaron. I will have a play when my One arrives - it's taking ages! Argh!

Gorgeous dog btw!

Is the the WidgetLocker clock or something like MinimalText? Very nicely done!

EDIT: Nevermind, looks like that's part of NiLS.

I just pull down my notification shade if I want a quick peek at what came in. Not quite as quick as this, but I've never liked replacement lock screens.

Go to Settings > Personalize > Lock Screen Style > and choose Productivity

This lockscreen shows notifications at a glance. Also, download the app Power Toggles

Thanks - didn't know this existed :-)!!!

It doesn't seem to be working that well though haha. None of my notifications work with it. It only works with certain apps. Doesn't work with Gmail or any 3rd party SMS messaging app, sooo yeah haha

It is Minimal Task.

Mine works with Gmail. I don't use 3rd Party SMS. Basically... I think it catches the alerts from the phone and places them here. Look at my screen shot... the bottom message is the icon of the sender on the left and far right, the app.

I really like the productivity wallpaper but the difference is this wakes up your screen. So if your phone is plugged in at your desk... which mine is every day all day... you see incoming emails. I don't use a desktop mail app so I came to really depend on this on the iPhone. It's not a huge deal but I rather like it.

I tried doing the same setup as you, but seems like the look screen notification is buggy, I always get duplicate notification or sometimes. More the. 2

I've used this for 2 days now and I think what it is how the notifications come in. If Gmail gets 4 emails at the same time, it lumps it all into one notification. If you select Keep All Notification (or something like that)... it will keep all of them an you can scroll through it on the lock screen.

Basically... it's not the best for getting info but has worked really well for watching for incoming notifications without constantly turning the phone on and off. I think this is just an early evolution of the lockscreen notification... just used to it from iOS.

Go to Settings > Personalize > Lock Screen Style > and choose Productivity
"Productivity" is a misnomer here. It's incredibly limited in what it will actually display.

I solved this problem by getting Executive Assistant+. It does almost exactly what Lockinfo did on my jailbroked iPhone, but it's slightly easier to configure. With this app in place I finally have a functional lock screen and can cross off another item that my old phone had that my One doesn't. It was the last major item on that list.

All I wanted was something to wakeup my lockscreen when an alert comes in... Executive Assistant seems way to much overkill. If I was going to read email, I am just going to open up the app. But that's the good thing I've found about this... you can customize it however your workflow goes.

The icon is a snowboarder... it's my avatar. Was sending myself test messages :)

Could you give us a list of all items that where missing from the One and were on your iphone?

1. How did you put the clock in the top right hand corner? It lets you move it but I don't see a way to seperate it from the notifications.
2. How did you display battery percentage?
3. What weather widget is that?
