Lockscreen ring changeable?

Hey

just wanted to know whether the lockscreen ring on the Nexus 7 can be altered? I noticed that there are 4 points where the unlock happens but only 2 are used. Google Now and general unlock. I realise that on devices with a camera on the back the left point is used to go to the camera app... but is it possible to add other apps to the ring?

Then i guess that the answer is no... unless you use third party lockers... hmm ok

I run custom rom Codename Android and it adds in the function to add apps to the lock screen ring.

IMO, CNA feels very stockish yet with a good amount of custom ability.

I would not use the swipe lock screen. Use Pattern or PIN. Some like Face Unlock, I find it a bit annoying.

I know -- this is not what you asked. But using a swipe unlock like in stock is silly, just don't lock it at all (yes, that is an option under Settings | Security).
