Lockscreen Widget

Has anyone else been experiencing an issue where the lockscreen widget functionality is no longer accessible. I noticed last week that I could no longer swipe to the left and add widgets as I used to be able to do. I've done a factory reset and the functionality returned, only to disappear again. I'm not rooted and have not overtly done anything funky to the phone. Anyone have any insight?

No which leads me to believe an app you're installing is causing a conflict.

Make sure you pull down the clock or home widget to minimize the unlock circle first.

Eclipse's comment prompted me to do some digging on my phone. It turns out that the "Google Device Policy" app was preventing the lockscreen widgets from being accessible. I've added and removed the app several times and each time it's caused / fixed the problem. I've been out of the Android game for a few years so I'm not sure if this was already common knowledge for people, but for me, it solved my problem. Just putting this out there in case it helps someone else.

Good find. I may activate that as I'm not sure I want somebody to find my phone and then have a way to access some of my information without getting past the lock screen.

I just saw that this is only for google apps accounts. I do have one. However, I do also think it's strange that lock screen widgets are accessible when you have some sort of lock screen security. That seems like something that should be an option to disable.

Glad to hear you figured out a solution. Sorry I couldn't be of more help but at least I got you started in the right direction. :)
