logging in after missing unlock pattern 5 times.

Not that I am not smart enough to remember my lock pattern..but I missed it five times on purpose one day and I tested logging in with my google account. Every time I do a message comes up saying "incorrect name or password". After typing my password and username slower than a snail and making sure everything is spelled correctly it still comes up. Is anyone else noticed this issue?

every now and then, my phone will capitalize the first letter of a password. check if yours is doing that

I've heard that you have to put your google acct as "....@gmail.com"

I have tried both things neither work. I asked at&t and they said I should try deleting my gmail account off the phone and then logging in again...If I did that I would have to perform a factory data reset and therefore lose all my apps....

Samsung support is just as good. I asked a Samsung rep about changing a GPS setting and he said "enter..." which I did. Ooopsie, he didn't tell me he was starting with a factory reset that would wipe everything from the phone.
Nice, huh?

You sadly can't trust AT&T or Samsung support. Some of them are just reading scripts and have no idea what they are doing.
