Android Central Question
This was a security scare for me. Logged in to Google on my regular computer I checked recent devices used, and it shows a login by an LG Nexus 5 cellphone (in Google's Sign-in & Security page). I have never had such a phone.
However, about a month ago I bought a Motorola Moto G4 Plus through an internet auction. I did a factory reset. On this phone, I use Gmail either through the Gmail app or through the Firefox app I installed.
Changing my password several times and logging in through both my computer and cellphone, I have now concluded that every time I log in to Google on Firefox in the phone, it shows up as a login by an LG Nexus 5. A cellphone that was made back in 2013, and hasn't been produced since 2015.
Why is that?
The fear is of course that the previous owner would be logging in to my account somehow, but I don't think so. Or that someone would have installed something on my phone when using the wifi on an inter-city bus. Alas, I am not savvy enough with cellphones to know how I should check this. But I hope someone can calm my nerves regarding the Nexus issue.
