What happened to Android Cental?

Ah the good ole days of android central and the ROM community, I wrote some guides on this forum even. I remember when toggles in the notification pull down were only available on cyanogenROMs at first- hows that for a blast from the past!

XDA was always the modding hub but here the community was way more chill. I made some good friends back in the day. Can't believe Jerry Hildenbrand is still writing articles here, cool beans. I wonder what Phil Nickinson is up to these days.
I know he did a spin off called Modern Dad, but I think that fizzled out within a year. Not sure what he is up to. Jerry is the only one left from the crew back in 2012.

You are correct.

I don't remember Visor Central, but I also have no clue what "Visor" is other than what is worn on the head to keep sun out of one's eyes.

I started with CrackBerry in 2009, then joined Android Central and Windows Central. I was also at iMore when it was around. I used to be a mod at Windows Central and iMore as well.
So iMore has been gone over a year?
Holy carp on a stick!

I just read the Goodbye message there.

I joined AC originally in 2014, and remember two wonderful people who migrated over to there.

I guess if you can turn on an iPhone and say Hey Siri ..., (only kidding) 😊

I always meant to buy a refurb iPhone one day, and get proper info over there.

I didn't know TechRadar and Tom's Guide are part of the group as well.

Thanks for the info Laura.
