Who wants to take bets we won't see the Pie update before March? Big magenta has turned into a joke.

I checked earlier and software is still in development not even testing. I heard they having a problem with band 600 I believe

Every single phone of theirs is in development so I'm not putting too much stock into that site.

Any documentation on this? Or just word of mouth? I'll stop manually searching for the update multiple times a day if this is true. :(

I guess I don't care that much. I'd prefer they work out bugs before I get updates. PLus I use Nova so I never really notice a difference when it's upgraded other than to say it's upgraded.

If your on Alk1 Firmware and use att zip file on a sd card in recovery u can be on pie.....all info is on Att threads here

Thats the problem. T-Mobile is on ARL1 firmware which means you can't just put on SD. You have to load A1K1 first. So not as simple.

I did see a post on t-mobile support page saying mid-feb, so hopefully by next Friday.

https://support.t-mobile.com/thread/149803

"I get where you're coming from. It's interesting you mention the Note 9. We're expecting development to finish soon and Pie to launch for the Note9 towards the middle of this month. We understand you're having to wait, but we appreciate your patience."

Thanks. Once t-mobiles version comes out, I am assuming you have to go back to ARL1 to get the update? If so how do you do that?

No you dont have to go back because all carrier firmware are interchangeable
Tmobile updates will see it up to date until next update comes along.

So this update will install ATT stuff but next t-mobile update will bring t-mobile stuff back?

I had to do the AT&T flash on my unlocked T-Mobile Note 9 and then I ran the software update and it updated to Pie.

I was able to simply do the update from SD card on my unlocked S9+ with no problems.
