Hey guys,

I am using G3 since August and recently got upgraded to Lollipop a few weeks back. What I have noticed is that the battery has taken the major blow since the upgrade. The phone gets terribly hot as well at times (might be one of the reasons of battery drain).

I have tried clearing cache, keep freeing RAM time to time. However, the battery drain does not simply go down. On Kit Kat, I was able to go through the day on single charge but now I need to charge it twice a day.

I am on 3G all the time, heavy messaging (whatsapp), few calls (aprx 30 min a day) and moderate gaming. No wifi, bluetooth, location services in ON mode. While on KitKat, I had almost 20% battery at EoD with this much of use. After getting on Lollipop, the battery drains right in front of you % by %.

I am absolutely clueless what the bug might be.
Snapdragon Battery Guru is of no use. It didn't help .

Please help me if there is any catch that can help me to get me better battery life as it was before.

Thanks,
Apa'

P.S. (I cannot reduce the phone usage as this is my professional. Need to play around on phone :D )

I hope this gets sorted man.
M on lollipop but I've seen no sudden change on the battery life.
