Lollipop 5.0 note 3 verizon and google chrome?



I installed the lollipop software all seems well except for google chrome a techie I am not!!

what is apps and tabs merged mean and why do it ?

why isn't the bookmarks showing anymore within the app when opened?

there is an update pending for google chrome but in kit kat it started hiding things like history and cookie cleaning so I always disallowed that update.

any help on above will be much appreciated as why merge things only not to see a visual! or do I have to re add all my book marks?

sometimes one good thing buggers up another.

I always disallow the merging feels like going backwards to me. What this means is that instead of seeing your tabs in chrome you will see them in the overview with all the other open apps. If you think in terms of MS windows then it means instead of having tabbed browsing all your browser windows show on the task-bar.

Bookmarks are in the menu on the top right or if you click on the star at the bottom...

harshvaria that part I found but in the old chrome if I closed a web page I could reopen chrome and my bookmarks were all showing now a run around this is what I have started disliking about google.
