Lollipop 5.1.1 How do I change the keyboard color to black?

Hiya. I did a factory reset to my nexus7 tablet today. Sadly I can't find a way to change the color of the keyboard from white to black. The instructions on the google site are not applicable anymore..

1. Open the Settings menu Settings on your device.
2. Under "Personal," touch Language & input.
3. Under "Keyboard & input methods," touch the Settings icon
next to "Google Keyboard." <-unable to find such a setting!
4. Touch Keyboard theme.
5. Choose from the available themes.

Welcome to the forums. What Google keyboard version do you have? You can also access the keyboard settings if you open it and long press on the 'comma'. Then select 'themes' or 'preferences'.

Thank you. I was using the Japanese version and that's why I couldn't get to the settings using a comma tap :>
Changing to the US and comma tapping did the work.
