I have an Z3 Compact (D5803) in the US, I started getting notices from the phone last week saying that Lollipop was available for download.

Try running the "Xperia Update" app on your phone or connect your phone to your PC and see if the PC Companion program tells you there's an update.

My collegues in work received their lollipop on Z3 Compact last night.
as of 09:35BST I'm downloading the software for my Z2 Tablet (wifi only, unbranded) atm.
It's asking me to click 'install' now...

Just my Z1 Compacts to go.
(I donm't know anyone with a Z2 or Z2 compact handset)

Well, two days ago i installed Lollipop on my Xperia Z3C because i could not wait any longer for the OTA.
I downloaded the file and use Flashtool to install it.
It took about 15 minutes to install. I was so stupid to wipe the data so had to install almost everything from scratch.
I must say, it is awesome !!! Whenever you can get your hands on this update, TAKE IT !
It is indeed a great improvement. It is fast and battery life is defenitly longer. In my feeling 1,5 - 2 X
Sony did some work on the stock lollypop like incoming calls look kinda Kitkat and End call is not circular but still the wide button, which is better.
Lockscreen clock is different too, you can choose out of three clocks, no other tough. Lockscreen is dimmed, has dark overlay, i don't know why.
The lockscreen can be improved i think.
I have it only for htwo days so need some more time but so far i do not regret this update in any way, unlike most IOS updates.

The update in my opinion sucks.

Quite a few changes which annoy the hell out of me already.

Some of the changes (I do not like):
- Extra unlock screen (so I first have to swipe and then enter my patron)
- Notification screen changed a lot (not so clear anymore imo) and on top of that you have to swipe down a second time to get configurations instead of sideways (got to become a new habit I guess)
- New display of open apps, way more unclear.
- When you open chrome browser you will notice you can nowlonger check tabs in the app itself, but is now bound to the button where you usually check all open apps. And this one frustrates me the most, because now you have to close (swipe away) all tabs before you close the chrome app. When you then restart chrome, all your tabs are no longer there. Combined with the new unclear display of open apps you really got to search for your other apps in between all the chrome tabs....

So before downloading, please consider these changes as I'm really pissed about these changes and feel like throwing away my phone and buying an IPhone (and I hate apple, so that says something)....

Just got my lollipop 5.0.2 on Z3 tablet. It is lock to Rogers network in Canada, but i dont have a sim card in it.
