Is Samsung releasing Lollipop to Sprint, ATT, Verison, ... in December so the carriers can take their time to install bloatware to inhibit their customers from switching carriers? ATT is reported to have locked down iPhones unlockable sim card already. Is Big Brother bloating us?

No big deal here.

If you read a few lines down you will see that you just have to get a new sim from the carrier you are switching to and you are good to go....

I have no need to switch anyway..

You must be close to upgrade time. There's NO WAY they will unlock it if you are still in contract and I've been with them forever. Did not get to unlock any of my iPhones or Android phones until I was close to my upgrade date like 45 days.

Actually I was a year into my contract but then I have been with AT&T since the 70's with the exception of the time they were in bankruptcy and I told them I was going to move to T-mobile. They offered to unlock and give me a better data rate if I stayed.

I reckon it will be more like February or March, for me at least on o2 in the UK.
