Lollipop for the T-Mobile Z3!

Had a possible issue last night. Was trying to make a call and the phone wouldn't dial out. Restart and same issue. Went to settings and turned off VoLTE and it dialed right out.

The phone was making calls just fine prior (post lollipop) so I'm not sure if it was just a bad signal or potential issues with VoLTE still on this device.

Anyone else see any issues with VoLTE?

I used to have issues with VoLTE just like that with kitkat I couldn't dial out. That is more a T-mobile problem for the area your in I think.

Yes the sound is very much softer. Some youtube videos are un-hearable when people are talking. Also, xloud is missing in the sound options in lollipop. That was the sound boost in kitkat. I used to be able keep the volume slider at about half way and it was plenty loud. Come on T-Mobile or Sony... BRING BACK Xloud!

Performance quicker. Battery I feel is draining too quickly, will confirm. Didn't feel anything concerning volume issues. Overall ui is nice. Love that group messaging now works. Again in still concerned about battery.

I am not sure if this is lollipop related but last night my phone did a full factory reset by itself, phone got really hot and then dumped back to the Sony Welcome to phone screens a few minutes later.

After the original lollipop update a couple of weeks ago I did not do a factory reset after the update, mainly as I wanted to see if battery life was OK post update (and it was roughly the same).

Has anyone else seen this (either pre or post lollipop)?

Mine hasn't reset itself like that but I too didn't do a factory reset but I'm thinking about it now. Everything has been running great on it but I just wonder if it would be better to do it.

The Lollipop update was truly worth the wait. Runs flawlessly and added some great features. I love the new full screen music background on the lockscreen while playing music or podcasts as well.

I agree that the lollipop update for Z3 is great. The whole material look is very nice, and a great phone got even better. My wife has a Z3, and she seems to love it even more after getting the update.

Ya right lollipop is as bad as ios 8 apple at least on the Sony z3

Has your perceived battery drain improved? I feel like my battery is draining faster. Anyone else? Everything else seems fine.

I upgraded for a three weeks, my juice was drying up rather abnormally... I took a risk to downgrade back to kitkat, and I don't regret it. My battery lasts the whole day long with aggressive usage and to my preference, I love the tiny fonts and icons on the kitkat. Lollipop for still needs alot of work... I hate the multitasking tabs in lollipop and the dailpad...
