Lollipop grief...

I upgraded to Lollipop a few days ago and now my Dolphin browser crashes so much that it's almost unusable. I prefer this browser because Flash still works with it. Is it possible to downgrade back to the original OS?

The tablet does seem snappier and the battery life seems improved.

By flashing KitKat firmware on the Note with Odin [Guide][Samsung] How to flash Stock ROM via ODIN with the New Interface. BUT,
1. I had to wipe cache partition and hard factory reset in recovery mode straight after flashing.
2. I haven't tried it on the Tab.

Is ROOTING involved or just some programming/loading machinations? I would not want to kill my warranty.

No, rooting is definitely not required for this nor will it void your warranty.
