For those who have the update, I'm curious about how much Material Design had influenced sense. Do things look the same with only Google apps and some others having material design? Or has sense been given a makeover too?

If there are changes, can you show us some screenshots?

The lollipop update hasn't been pushed to where I live yet, but from what I read HTC hasn't updated Sense a long with the release of lollipop, Sense 6 is still being used, so there is probably no UI change at this time, and there will not be any change until they update Sense.

Small changes, mainly with animations, but basically still sense 6 with a different notification view and recents apps.

It's probably best described as a hybrid of GPE Lollipop and Sense 6. I'll post some screenshots

Thanks white lunch bag.

I hope with sense 7 they do a material design makeover. Sense 6 has always felt a little barren to me.

Sense with Lollipop looks a lot more polished than with Kit-Kat, to be quite honest. The changes aren't major but they're enough to make you feel like you're using a different, smoother, and better looking version altogether. I really like how they kept things minimal and just worked on the things that needed working (like the old quick settings which I hated). The performance is also quite good and I am going to wait a couple of days before I post about battery life but so far it looks good.
