Here's a Lollipop warning while you wait for this OS update:
After recently upgrading to Lollipop on my Verizon S4, I joined the ranks of many other unfortunate Verizon users of the stock email app who discovered that we were no longer receiving any notifications of incoming emails: No LED, sound, nor vibration notifications. One smart user, on the Verizon GS4 forum, discovered what so far seems to be the only solution that has worked: go into Application Manager and go to the stock email app, clear the cache and clear the data; the key is to clear both. Unfortunately this wipes out your email account(s) so you'll have to re-enter your pop or imap server settings. This solution worked for me and many others on Verizon. Hopefully, your Sprint upgrade to Lollipop will be perfect and you won't have to go thru this annoyance. Good luck!
