I currently have the kitkat on my lg g3, should i update to lollipop?
And if i do and im not pleased, how can i go back to kitkat without any rom/flash whatever it is?
Thx

1) I wouldn't. About all you get is a prettier face and bugs. (If you call it prettier - I can't stand Material Design.)

2) You can't. To "downdate", you flash the earlier ROM. (There can't be a "revert" option, because the old ROM isn't saved somewhere, it's replaced, and carriers don't keep "downdate" files for you to get over the air. No software business wants to support any version but the current one. The bug you maste 15 minutes of a tech's time on may already be fixed if you updated. [Not usually the case in Android, but it's still a software business, so it still costs them to maintain more than 1 version.])

Until this latest release (v20h), I would say no .. do not update. I found battery consumption higher, and little issues with wireless charging (screen coming on), and a few other minor bugs. However, since the latest release (v20h), I have to say the phone is great, Battery use well improved, and wireless charging sorted. Also, feels a little snappier

If you want battery life from, 30 hrs to 4 hrs, then go ahead. Too buggy

Do I remember right that you declined Lollipop Clive? If so, do you still have the notification or has it given up and departed?

I've had it in my notification bar on my Nexus 4 for several weeks but since I've got Lollipop on two other devices, I'm staying with KitKat on that one.

30 hours to 4 hours?

WTF lol.

Anyone else having this problem? My battery life is just as good as it was or even better than when it was on kitkat

Horrible battery life on Lollipop. I did the same mistake of following the sheep and rushing into the Lollipop frenzy. 5.0 is buggy as **** and has literally brought my battery life to half. I get aprx 6 hrs of usage on a single charge whereas I would easily go for a day on KK.

DON'T GET ON 5.0. Even if you wish to downgrade, that's too much of a task.

maybe you could look into tinkering. its really not that hard at all to flash TWRP via flashify. And then flash a 5.0.2 rom like cm12 or Illusion.

If you were smart you would wait a few more weeks so the development communities have time to merge the LG features into their roms. then you will have the best of both worlds with little battery drain.

I did it without reading the forums first. I kinda wish I hadn't. Some bugs. Biggest issue seems to be that the SD card keeps unmounting. Reboots are slow. Some apps icons disappear. Etc. I have 5.0.1. I hope it gets better. Suggestions?

Anyone with battery drain just do a backup and factory reset it should take care of it.

Hi.. I declined lollipop a month ago. Unticked automatic updates, never been asked since, don't want it, love kit Kat.
