Lollipop

I have read somewhere that Android Lollipop is available. Is it? Has anyone downloaded it? According to the system update on my Tab S it says it is up to date on Kit Kat.

Yes. Came out a few days ago for wifi Tab S 10.5.

No idea why I am not seeing it on my Tab then. Strange. I only want it really because it is supposed to prolong the battery life.

Installed on my Tab S last night. Tablet seems to be snappier. Some things have changed, but I got Lollipop on my Nexus 7 months ago and was already used to the changes. Too soon to tell if the battery life is improved.

Battery life is good. Overall performance is good. Can't see any reason not to install. Samsung seems to have gotten this right on the Tab S☺

I was just updated to Lollipop 5.02. I wasn't expecting it so it was a nice surprise.

I have the wifi version of the tab and nothing here for me (in australia)
ill be in america in 4 days, maybe it will notify me when i am there for download

Yeah I have the wifi only 10.5 version and downloaded it. It makes the tablet a lot snappier. Unlock screen is nicer too with the clock widget in the center and of course lock screen notifications. Recent apps now has the lollipop ui, and the status bar changes color now depending on the app you're in. Font and overall ui of the tablet is now much cleaner. 1 little thing I noticed is that the tablet now connects to wifi incredibly fast, relative to before. Haven't noticed any change in battery life yet, but these other improvements are worth the update!

Because it hasn't been released in the UK yet for SM-T800. France is the only country in Europe that got LP update from what I can see.

To my grief I let it install on my s10.5 which was working fine. Did not see any significant performance improvements. Just several new ways to display the same old info. It does seem to have created issues with my internet service from Samsung, has become problematic. I want to go back to kitkat if it is possible. Anyone know how... Lollipop is a not a step forward but a step back for me.

Everytime I start up my tablet it ask me to install it but I don't.

I downloaded and installed it a few days ago. System seems snappier, but my Dolphin browser crashes frequently. Bummer...
