Lollipop

One nice feature that this update brings is that you can now encrypt your tablet but still use your fingerprint for screen unlock (pre-boot is still a password), which for some inexplicable reason wasn't allowed before now. But fair warning: shortly after I did this my tablet stopped recognizing my encryption password. I don't know if this was related to the update or fingerprint option or just random, but I felt I should mention it since it happened to me.

When I go to check for System Updates it tells me "the LAtest updates have already been installed"? How do I get Lollipop?

I really don't understand why this is a country by country release when it's just for wifi - Australia here as well and there is no date for release yet.

I don't mind manually doing it but will it void my warranty and possibly brick it?

At least it is good to know that I'm not the only one that has not updated yet... Share the same thoughts, if it is working ok, why mess around with it?

I still find my battery use ok, it would be the only reason I would think about updating, if battery life would improve significantly (although I saw some people saying that the opposite happened after update). Little UI features, not so special for me at, and I really dislike the white backgroind on options and some apps. Sometimes I ask myself why devices are now all "witey", I think the dark theme with balck background looks much better, gives a nice contrast and it is easier for the eye, in my opinion. They could at least give an option to keep color scheme as before.

Well... Still with the update files downloaded, but still not sure about updating, like some people here. Guess we have to make a poll to see how much people are having a better perfomance with Lollipop, after the update.
