Long delay for screen to come on

I noticed that it seems to take several seconds for the screen to light up now after pressing the power button. Anyone else experiencing this? What could be the issue? I can still return this one for a few more days and get a new one.

If you are doing a complete power down restart, a cold start takes awhile. If you are doing a hibernate restart, there are still system / app activities that initialize during the warm start, and increase wake up time proportionately. I'd bet your device is not defective, and any replacement would behave just like your original.
